Part 4 covers the move to Sandy Park and the Drewett Years.
Twelve Years to the Premiership
Part 4 - 06/07 to 08/09 (Sandy Park and the Drewett years)
The move to Sandy Park marks a major development in Exeter Chiefs Premiership ambitions.
Sandy Park
The stadium was officially opened by Jason Leonard prior to the England Saxons v Italy match staged at Sandy Park. This was part of the Churchill cup and the Chiefs also hosted the NZ Maori v Ireland game.
Season 06/07 - Fourth place with 101 points with the same points as the Pirates but Chiefs had one more win. League winners were Leeds on 123 points. The Chiefs had a disappointing first half of the season but the second half saw them win all apart from the away game at Leeds. Top scorer was Tony Yapp with 280 and Jason Luff scored most tries with 16.

unless i cant count, there are less people in the piccy than on the players list so if we have an impostor that means there are even more people without a face. who are the people not in the photo?
Moorsman Here's a poser for you. Who is the player standing between Gary Kingdom and Tony Roques in the 06/07 squad photo?
As I remember that chap was a kenyan International winger called Ian Simiyu. I think his chiefs career consisted of one pre season game against Exmouth (scoring a hat trick) but I don't know what happened to him after that.
