Well not for pre-season games anyway
Not Long Now
Whilst the Premiership season is quite some time away it's just a few weeks until we get to see this season's Chiefs run out in the West Country Cup. This new Cup has come about as a means of giving Chiefs, Bath and Glaws some game time in the long hiatus brought about by the World Cup. This means we'll get to see how the guys have come through preseason that is of course with the exception of those on international duty. Of course this is a longer list than we're used to with players absent with England, Wales, Namibia and Tonga squads. However we've plenty of quality players who will be champing at the bit to stake their claim for a starting place in when the Prem starts. Luckily we can play our home matches in the West Country Cup at Sandy Park but Glaws have to use an alternative because they're World Cup games are early in the tournament. This means we get a chance to visit the happy hunting ground that is The Memorial Stadium in Bristol. Our first game is at Sandy Park on September 5th and I can't wait!
Before that I have a meeting with The Pack logistics team who I will be joining for the World Cup games at Sandy Park. Not sure whatbthe hec I'll be doing but I am really looking forward to it.
