Blank weekend means Glaws can regroup

Luke Narraway - new deal
By Cherry Picker March 21 2008
With no match this weekend, it might be good news for Gloucester's injury list as the club prepares for the final lap of a hectic season. But what's a supporter supposed to do? A bank holiday weekend, and no match to watch, no celebrations to enjoy and no post-mortem to conduct - it just isn't natural. Let's hope the squad feels the benefit and enters the final stages of the season in top form.

There is some news from Kingsholm, with Luke Narraway extending his contract by two years, but otherwise it's all gone a bit quiet as everybody tries to get things together for the final push.
The international players are back and coach Dean Ryan now has to decide how he is going to halt a slide which has seen Glaws slip up in too many recent matches.
They may still be top of the GP table, but that's largely down to the fact that every time Glaws have slipped up lately, at least one of their main rivals has done so as well.
Next weekend's visit to W*rcester is a big game in every respect as Ryan and his players attempt to get things back on track a week before the HC showdown with Munster.
So what are we all going to do over the Bank Holiday?
Well, there's always B*th v Londoin Irish on Saturday, or Br*stol v Harlequins on Sunday.
No? Well, what about the gardening?
Weather no good because Easter's too early? Right, wash the car. No, too cold.
Watch the telly? How ... has somebody found a good programme somewhere?
Visit family? Err, if I wanted an argument I'd go to Kingsholm, match or no match.
No, it's no good, we'll just have to suffer our lost weekend and, like the players, recharge the batteries for the Wuss game and hope we can get it all together then and for the Munster crunch.
Anybody fancy a game of Monopoly?
Cluedo?
Forget it ...
