That’s the last game of November, and during December Glaws are at home just once, against Calvisano as part of their Heineken Cup double fixture before two GP away games against London Irish and Bristol.
It’s all getting very exciting as Glaws hit the sort of form which has made them such a force over the last couple of seasons, their latest demonstration coming in the 39-10 win over struggling Bristol.
Coach Dean Ryan (right) told the BBC after the game: "For 50 or 60 minutes, we were excellent and they did not have an answer to it. It was a crucial time.
"Playing a side like Bristol, you have to be ahead after 60 minutes. If you have not got a good lead, you have not shaken them off.
"Bristol are a tough side around the contact area and it looked like they worked on that for this game."
It could be argued that the win was based on the form of the half-backs, one of them a real rookie and the other a player who has suffered more than his share of criticism and setbacks as his place in the side was threatened.
Dave Lewis was great at scrum-half, setting up two tries with his breaks, and Ryan Lamb looked his old self outside him as he racked up 19 points.
Ryan told the Citizen: “Two years ago it was Ryan Lamb and now Ryan's got a 19-year-old who is adding energy, adding confidence.
"He doesn't look out of place. It's for other people to come back and take him out of there, not for other people's reputation to come back. There's no substitute for youthful exuberance.
"As you get older you tend to curb it and forget what it was. Against Newcastle he energised us off the bench, he was high energy last week and he showed today in a probably more complete performance.
"He looks like he's moving on really well."
Too right he does, and so do Gloucester – Olly Morgan, Peter Buxton with two, Alex Lamb and Lamb scored the tries, with Lamb converting four and kicking a penalty and a drop goal.
It was as close to a complete performance as we’ve seen this season, even allowing for the fact that Brizzle are not one of the better teams. And to make the whole day better, the crowd of 15,297 was a big improvement, too.
Happy days are here again ... we hope.
