Ryan Lamb
The votes where almost exactly split equally, with Walker (right) and Lamb tied on 33.78 per cent and Barkley just behind on 32.43.
Funny that, isn't it? One might even be tempted to suspect that it had been run by the BBC.
Lamb has emerged as coach Dean Ryan’s favoured fly-half in recent games, and has been showing some of his old form as Gloucester’s team game has gradually improved.
But Walker had a great start to his season, while Barkley appears to be regarded more as a centre than a stand-off.
Either way, the voting suggests Glaws fans agree that the club is fortunate to have so many top-class options for one of the most important positions on the pitch.
Now, it’s time to vote on our latest poll, and it’s a controversial subject:
Should Dean Ryan stay as Glaws coach if the team has another trophy-free season?
