May - Two Tries

By Cheery Cherry
May 2 2017

It is to be hoped that the players' concentration on the upcoming Euro Challenge Final was a major factor in the second half blitz which saw Bath run in five tries ...

The 44-20 defeat was a bitter blow to Cherry and White  supporters who went to the Rec in high hopes of securing local bragging rights.

The fact it was an entertaining game, with some excellent tries including two from Jonny May and one from Halaifonua, didn't really help.

Sadly, they didn't match the ones run in by the home side with Faletau powering in a hat trick.

It has to be said our away record in the Premiership is the reason for our mid-table langour with the win at Bristol our only one since September.

Fortunately, we have fared better on  our travels in Europe so let's hope Edinburgh is far enough away to galvanise the lads.
