There's fine margins at work in the Premiership this season and let's hope Jimmy Gopperth's last ditch kick doesn't cost us dear when the play-offs unravel.
His conversion tied the scores at 25 apiece and effectively moved us down three places in the table with Falcons and Bath leapfrogging the Cherry and Whites.
Instead of being two points behind Wasps, who are third, we are still six points adrift.
It all means that five pointers at home to Falcons and at bottom club Irish are now vital.
We looked like getting five points in the first half against our rivals thanks to tries from Hibbard and Sharples. We were leading 18-6 at the break but a yellow for Paddy McAllister was a turning point with tries from Dan Robson and Thomas Young levelling things.
We all got excited when Henry Trinder went over for a converted try, but when you are only one score ahead the opposition know they are still at the races and so it proved.
Christian Wade went over in the corner and Gopperth earned his wages and broke our herts with a fine conversion.
