Tom Marshall

Following Glaws is not for the faint hearted. After sleepwalking though the first quarter of the game against the bottom club we charged back to build up a big lead only to be digging deep at the end. However, a win is a win and we are back in  the top four ...

Irish were 17-0 up before the linament had dried with scores from Josh McNally and Piet van Zyl.

Fortunately, we woke up with James Hanson getting things moving followed by  Tom Marshall and Lewis Ludlow in quick succession to give us a two point lead at the break.

Marshall was unlucky to have a second half effort chalked off for a mild obstruction but did get his second after Mark Atkinson had increased the lead to 33-17.

Cue the dramatic finale with a spirited Irish refusing to give in and Theo Brophy Clews and Joe Cokanasiga scored to bring the score to 33-29 .

For once we held out!
