That’s it for another four years then - South Africa will hold the Webb Ellis Trophy until 2011, when the world of international rugby union will meet again in New Zealand. Hopefully, the IRB will by then have silenced those who want to make the finals a 16-team affair instead of 20, and will have sorted out a number of other issues that were raised during the tournament in France.
