SWT v SWS
The Scorpions will take on local amateur side South Wales Thunder on Sunday following last weekend's victory over Workington Town.
Though he is yet to be officially confirmed as head coach, Anthony Seibold will be calling the shots from the sidelines as the Scorpions aim to avoid a potential banana skin.
Seibold will ring the changes for the fixture - with Loz Wildbore set to be rested. No dual-registered Crusaders or players on loan from Brian Noble's side will feature, so the Scorpions XIII will be much-changed from the side that won 22-20 last weekend.
There will be plenty of names in the Thunder ranks who will be keen to impress. Thunder is a representative side made up from talent from the Welsh Conference Premier - and many will, no doubt, have trialled for the Scorpions prior to the club's inaugural fixture.
Seibold has told the official website that the "door isn't closed" to any players in the Thunder squad who catch his eye.
The fixture kicks-off at 1pm at the Carmarthen Athletic RFC ground.
