Both Joe Ansbro and Alasdair Dickinson will be missing for the Calcutta Cup clash on Saturday ....

Centre  Ansbro hasn't recovered from a back problem  and will return to his club London Irish fro treatment. Physio Paul McGinley believes the versatile three-quarter will be better-served recovering with his club with either Lee Jones or Stuart Hogg likely to come into the Scottish backline.

The news is the latest blow for coach Andy Robinson who  has worries over the fitness of Ruaridh Jackson while Moray Low and Fraser McKenzie have already been ruled out with injury.

Meanwhile Sale prop Dickinson’s shoulder injury, sustained in his club’s Amlin Challenge Cup match against Brive earlier this month, forced him to miss out on training at the St Andrews camp last week. and he has also been told to return to his club.
