Ref Apologises to Hogg

By Max Devo
February 13 2012

Referee Romain Poite has apparently apologised to Stuart Hogg for disallowing the try which would have meant a dream debut for the  19 year old ...

To be fair the Glasgow player did appear to kock Nick de Luca’s pass forward with the try-line at his mercy.

The befot of the TV review showed that Hogg was in control of the ball before he went to ground. He then got to his  feet and touched down.

Poite adjudged that Hogg had knocked on however and it is just a shamne he didn't go to the TV ref. If her had justice would have been done .

Greig Laidlaw ensured Scotland didn’t make it five matches without a try with his late score and conversion reducing the arrears to 27-13.
