Home Finale

Where did the winter go? It's the last home league game of a season we might want to forget  -  at least let's wind things up by putting a shot across the bows of one of the high flyers...

Carnegie arrive in second place, and with only two games to go that's where they will finish - such is the gap between them and Irish in first place and Trailfinders in third.

The Tykes will have one eye on the soon to be abandoned play-offs so things may be easier than otherwise expected

The Blues have a couple of changes with Ollie Dodge oin the centre in place of Piers O'Conor and Jake Sharp taking over at stand off from Myles Dorrian.
Blues: 15 Elliot Clement-Hill 14. Pat Tapley 13. Ollie Dodge 12. Michael LeBourgeois (capt) 11. Dean Adamson 10. Jake Sharp 9. Jordan Burns
1. Camilo Parilli-Ocampo 2. Dan George 3. Ben Cooper 4. Will Carrick-Smith 5. Jordan Onojaife 6. Justin Blanchet 7. Josh Buggea 8. Jason Hill

Reps: 16. Jacob Fields 17. James Hallam 18. Christian Judge 19. Mike Howard 20. Ben Adams 21. Tom James 22. Myles Dorrian

Cannot allow today’s game to pass without just a small comment from the ‘pond’.......

Firstly before the game much talk relating to the recent signings all of it positive.....and many are going to renew their season included

The Blues put in excellent performance against a fully professional outfit, and that was the difference, their replacements ‘top draw’.......our boys did well to hold them as they enjoyable game despite the result.

Perhaps someone else could fill out a better report and add a few names.....

Mmmm, very good first half, good lineout, scrum and the backs were doing some good stuff. Leeds get a kick up the backside at half time and it's all change. Some of the tackling was non existent, a shambles at best. A few of the players will be embarrassed when they watch it back. They deserved the win.

Some big scores elsewhere, just shows how far off we are from the top 4! Great win for Richmond beating Rotherham. I'll be glad when the season is over, it has been extremely disappointing and I'm still undecided about whether or not to buy a season ticket. That depends on a number of things.
