Pat Sanderson scored a try in the first minute and from that moment on we were chasing the game. Only an 18 point haul from Wilkinson made the scoreline respectable ... he got one try three pens and two conversions with Noonie also going over late on.

In between Quins did pretty much as they wanted running in six tries .... and they could have had more. Their back row totally dominated and we had no answer to their running from midfield.
Falcons were locked in their dressing room for sometime after the game and Rob eventually emerged to state the obvious: "It wasn't very good. The disappointing thing from our point of view is that having performed pretty well at home we cannot translate that in to our away games. We went into this game having played well against Gloucester, Leeds and Wasps - the top three - at home and we've beaten two of them."
"But we didn't play with anything like enough rugby understanding in the first half. I wish I could put my finger on it but we just don't seem to bring our game to away grounds. We just cannot put back-to-back performances together. You can't play one week and then have a week off or you will get hammered."
Worse luck for Falcons was that debut winger Steve Jones - not sure where he came from - went off with waht appears to be a serious knee injury and Both has some nasty looking damage to an ear.
Poor Matt Wilkinson dropped a ball inside his own dead ball area in the first minute and Sanderson touched down. Brother Jonny helped us keep some pride but even he was at fault when he knocked-on in front of our line to gift Quins a try on the half hour.
Quins should have had more points by half time but they cut loose in the second scoring four tries.Our defence fell apart with first Tony Diprose forcing his way over for a 55th minute try then Will Greenwood galloped over eight minutes later quickly followed by Nick Duncombe.
