Born in Brisbane on 21 February 1987 6’ 4” tall and weighs 17 stone and is reportedly extremely athletic. 

Josh is a product of Brisbane State High and has represented Australia at Schoolboy and under 19 level. 

He gained a contract with the Queensland Reds Super 14 Franchise for whom he appeared as a  back row forward. He was selected for Tonga through his father and, in doing so, forfeited a place in the Australian 7s squad and the Queensland Reds squad.

He made his Test debut for Tonga v Japan on 15 Jun 2008 and last played v Fiji on July 5 2008. In total he has 4 caps three of them starts. He signed for Doncaster Knights as the start of the current season
