A reason to be cheerful...

He's staying put

Stuck at the bottom of the table, contemplating relegation and the prospect of National Division One rugby next season, you'd think we'd all be depressed. But no go walk around Newcastle, take a look around the office, the Falcons fans are the ones grinning like idiots...
You think we'd won the cup! When I first heard the news this morning I couldn't stop grinning, yes me cheerful before 9a.m. - wonders will never cease...
What's the reason for this unnatural behaviour?
      Wait for it...
        JONNY IS STAYING!!!!!!!!!!
Rob Andrew told the Daily Mail that Wilko has just agreed a two year extension to his contract.
"Our league position will not change that. Jonny is keen to stay."
"He is obviously concerned about the club's position but, if the worst came to the worst, he would want to put it right. That's the kind of person he is."
Without wanting to downplay the importance of our new signings , this has to be the best news of the week, if not the season.
The captain is staying on and with new players are coming in, all of a sudden things do not look quite so bad!
Now if you excuse me I'm going to go find a Leicester fan so I can gloat a little longer!
Oh he'd rather be a Falcon than a Tigger
                        He'd rather be a Falcon
                        Rather be a Falcon
                        Rather be a Falcon
Oh he'd rather be a Falcon than a Tigger
