The long awaited return of Jonny Wilkinson to club rugby did not turn out exactly the way the World Cup hero would have wished. Although Newcastle Falcons secured a win against Saints, Wilkinson's game was cut short with yet another injury to his shoulder.

His replacement Dave Walder came on knowing that he had a lot to prove after being the villain the previous week. And prove it he did intercepting a loose Saints' pass to run 80metres for Falcons second try of the game.
