Cruel Rugby

This was a cruel day. Cruel for London Irish because the standard of rugby we have been playing since Christmas has deserved a Heineken Cup slot next season. Results elsewhere meant we fell 4 points short of a possible HC place. It was also cruel for Sale, we spoilt their end of season Party by snuffing out all of their attacking invention and nilling them until the very last play of the game. More..
