By Coack Posse February 7 2010 Or ... Don't Muck Up February - Part 1
A Combined effort by the London Irish Supporters’ Coach Posse.
Put together by Big-Al
PANS, having read my previous match reports decided it would be a good idea to save the poor readers of the Craic from having to read my usual drivel – so as the supporters’ coach headed back from Worcester, my fellow travellers were invited to write a line or 2 each. So below are their thoughts and views of the day (only slightly censored) – although these are submitted anonymously, I wonder if any of you will be able to guess the author of any of the comments.
The bad news is that I will still write my match report – so the usual drivel will be submitted in a day or so. Anyway here is the report from the London Irish Supporters’ Coach Posse.
Let’s help Big-Al write the match report for the Craic messageboard. Please write a sentence about your day below:
We didn’t care much about the game.
We couldn’t catch a cold.
The Guinness on the coach was the best part of the day.
Free food and beer on the bus + Ryan getting yellow carded. And on the plus we managed to get a drum in during the match.
Dead rubber – at least Ryan landed his kicks – pity he gave lip to the ref.
I loved PH’s highlights!!! + everything else about him. I hope his shoulder injury is not too serious.
Bath played well!
Just when I thought things couldn’t get any worse I switched on my radio and Portsmouth were losing 5-0
Luvly coach journey, I was happy to be the youngest one on the back seat.
Game – Lamby kicked his first two in sequence – that’s a first?
Generally: Oh dear – it will be better @ Bath & give Maps a rest!!
Let’s concentrate on the big games.
What did Romania do against Spain?
And I paid good money to see that!! Nice legs, shame about the rugby.
I found a fiver outside the Slick Stand bars, a very carefully double-folded one which obviously meant a lot to someone. Gave it to a charitable cause later*. So at least someone got value out of my trip.
