TFTM 2012 - 12 : Kieran Roche

By Big-Al
July 27 2012

Thanks for the Memories continues onto another long-standing clubman. Thanks and best wishes Kieran Roche.

Kieran has been with London Irish since 2003, making well over 150 appearances for the club, operating equally well in either the second row or back row. Along with Bob and Nick, Kieran was part of the best line-out in the premiership. Kieran has represented England at age, student and Saxons levels. After 14 years as a professional (9 of them at LI), Kieran has now retired from playing rugby. Thanks Kieran and good luck for the future.

I'll always remember Kieran for a number of games, but the last image brings back the great memory of that unexpected and completely astounding kick - probably the best in-field kick we'd seen for a number of years. Good luck to a good gent
