TFTM 2013 - 10: Matt Garvey

By Big-Al

Another installment of our summer series Thanks for the Memories see us bid farewell to Matt Garvey.

Matt joined the London Irish academy in 2009 and made his first team debut against Wasps in the LV= cup in November of that year. Matt has gone on to make 85 appearances for the club, scoring 5 tries. Matt has represented England at Saxons level and it can only be a matter of time before he gains his first full international cap. Matt has been one of the main cogs in the London Irish machine over the past couple of seasons – even though it seems that his decision to leave us had been made fairly early in the season, he never failed to give 100%.
Thanks Matt and good luck at Bath.
