TFTM 2014 - 3 : James O'Connor

Thanks for the Memories continues with a farewell to short-term signing, and major coup for the club, James O'Connor. James's move to Irish was made to help him get away from off-field problems and get back on-track, it seems to have worked-out for both parties. Thanks James!

James’s stay with us was short but sweet – despite his young age, just 23 when he joined us in the autumn, James already has 44 Australian caps to his name. James appears to have made a good impression on all a London Irish and should he wish to return later in his career, I’m sure he would be made welcome. James now heads off to Toulon for a few months and then, if all goes according to plan, on to Australia for the 2015 season and we may well see him back in England later that year at the World Cup.
Thanks James and good luck for the future.
