Quins started building on the 10 minute mark and two penalties were scored by James Loizos in quick succession. A drop goal followed for the fly-half giving a 9-nil lead after 20 minutes. The Ams were now in control and scored their first try through Phil Ah-Sun's quick feet coming in off the wing.
A second try soon followed from No. 8 Wilhelm Wessels, who drove over under the posts for his second try in two weeks.
The second half showed the fitness of the Harlequin side - first Ade Mawson broke through the centres to jog in under the posts, then Hamish Moffett crossed over following a series of quick rucks from the Quin forwards, before Wessels scored his second.
In the final minutes Old Isleworthians were driven off their own scrum on their own line, to allow David Salomon to claim his try, before Jonathan Lowe rounded off the Quins scoring with their eighth try.
The final move of the game saw an Old Isleworthian try in the corner, but it was little consolation for the home side. Harlequin Amateurs end September unbeaten and on a high.

Harlequin Amateurs 2nd XV also won 36-38 in an hard fought away win against a London Scottish 6th XV in a Middlesex Merit Table match
