Last night I got together with a couple of his ex-team mates who are also big Tani fans and Paul Volley, Simon Miall, Rory Jenkins (although not physically there) and I have agreed to run a testimonial benefit year to pay tribute to his outstanding contribution to rugby union, Quins and Samoa.
Mark’s old adage of “When in doubt, sign a Samoan” certainly paid off when he signed up this guy.
Over the last 10 years we have seen him grow in stature, strength and popularity.
(There’s only 1 “F” in Fuga!!)
Tani’s great ball busting runs (always makes me think of a runaway steam engine) are a favourite of all of us at The Stoop.
He is held in equally high regard by his team mates.
He is a guy with a great sense of style too.
Surely only Ugo comes close when it comes to “Mr Cool” dress sense!
Next time you see Tani in mufti, check out the shoes. I’m reliably informed he has as many pairs of shoes as most women and they’re really stylish!
As for the hair cut, he’s been a Quin through and through with his various styles.
(At least he escaped Simon Keogh with his razor!) (Sorry, Simon!!)
In the meantime we could do with some help.
Obviously keeping costs down is going to be of paramount importance and to this end, we would love to hear from anyone in the printing industry who could help us, along with a graphic designer and webmaster.
There will be an opportunity to help raise money for Tani at the pre-season friendly game against Connacht on Friday, so listen out for announcements on the day.
If you can offer any help or ideas you can contact me in person on Friday or next Tuesday or pm me via CAW.

Yes, it's Tani's official Testimonial Year. Babs is one of the Committee members.
