After last weekend’s re enactment of the St Valentine’s Day massacre that left most supporters heartbroken, Harlequins have regrouped for this week’s Round 14 Guinness Premiership home match, against Northampton. Kick off at The Stoop is at 15.00 on SATURDAY February 20th.

Believe it or not it has been three months sinceQuins last hosted a Premiership match at The Stoop. The intervening time hasseen Quins win just one match away to London Irish in the LV cup, and has seenthem slump to ninth position in the Premiership.  Like the current weather recent results have received afrosty reception by Quins supporters and our season urgently needs to startshowing some green shoots.  Lastweek was a disaster that we would all like to forget and the team has to befocused to get back to winning ways. A home win against Northampton who areflying high, in third place and the only English representation in the HeinekenCup, would be a good start, BUT it is not going to be easy. Quins will onceagain be without Easter Monye and Care this weekend but the team will beboosted with the return of the experience of Skinner, Robshaw andWilliams.  With five changes fromthe starting lineup of last week Quins will be hoping that they have the rightformula this week to turn their season around

In contrast Northampton members of theEPS have been released and Lawes and Foden are expected to start this weekend. Northampton travel to the Stoop afteranother home win last weekend beating Newcastle 25-13 in an entertaining match, with Ashton scoring toimpressive tries, however their excellent handling skills in this match werelet down by poor ball retention. Let us hope we do not see yet another display of aimless aerial pingpong this weekend.

The two teams have produced somememorable games over the years providing a spectacle for both sets ofpassionate supporters; let’s hope we see the same again this weekend.

The Quins team to Face Northampton is

1 CERI JONES
2 CHRIS BROOKER
3 JOHN ANDRESS
4 JAMES PERCIVAL
5 LEWIS STEVENSON
6 CHRIS ROBSHAW
7 WILL SKINNER (Captain)
8 TOM GUEST
