By Prof
July 14 2010
This year the format of the A League will be changing again with two conferences rather than the three groups last year. All Premiership clubs will be required to play so teams like London Irish will be seen again.

Bristol are no longer in the competition but Exeter have joined and Worcester have kept their place.

It's going to be interesting to see how teams will cope with smaller squad sizes this season

Mon 11th Oct Saracens 41 - 29 London

Which means Irish are only 3 points ahead of us having played a game more!
Sarries are 1 point behind on the same no of games!
See previous link for tables etc!!

Plenty of games to go and we are still there with a good shout!!

Saracens 21 - 17 Bath United

played points
1 London Irish 6 22
2 Saracens 5 18

so we need to win our all our games in hand stillto challenge the not nots! bonus points will be a bonus!

Already looking forward to the Wasps game at Henley next Monday. Beat them convincingly last year with and without Cipriani

A ground I haven't been to, and a better train service, so no complaints from me.

Does anyone follow the progress of Strictly Come Dancing?
What are the chances of Gavin Henson being kicked out very soon
so that we can make him very welcome at the stoop for the
Quins A vs Sarries A on 13 Dec

He's doing ok. I suspect he'll be fit for their Boxing Day game - even if its only a bench spot.

Latest table, I believe top 2 teams go through to a SF, so looking pretty good for us. One win out our 2 remaining games should be enough for 1st (Sarries play Irish in one of their remaining fixtures) .
Team Pld	W	D	L	F	A	TF	TA	TB	LB	Pts
Harlequins	10	8	0	2	309	194	38	23	5	1	38
London Irish	10	7	0	3	198	217	24	30	3	0	31
Saracens	9	6	0	3	218	218	28	27	2	2	28
Bath United	9	3	1	5	206	140	28	15	3	3	20
Exeter United	10	4	0	6	236	229	26	29	2	2	20
Gloucester	9	3	0	6	176	208	22	26	3	3	18
London Wasps	9	1	1	7	157	294	19	35	2	1	9
