From a playing point of view the coaching structure has changed slightly with the introduction of Andy Friend, the other sides of the structure haven’t really changed at all, we still have Steph Brennan as the physio, Dave Bell as conditioner and John Kingston as forwards coach with Mike Scott as team manager as well.
Comings and goings: I think the goings are pretty small in terms of the amount of people who have gone – people like Dafydd James. I’ve brought in people to bolster the front five, guys such as Jimmy Richards, Ricky Nebbett, Lorne Ward, Kevin Burke and Aston Croall with Ian Vass coming in as scrum half as well, I think he’s a quality scrum half. I think we now have a squad that can compete very well to get back into the Premiership.
I’d like to think we would play a slightly different way to last year, but that’s just down to different styles f different coaches, I don’t think that’s a slur on how things went last year [smiles].
I do think we’ve got huge potential within the club and I feel it’s not just a case for getting up but it’s also a case of what’s going to happen the year after that and the year after that as well.
The next part will be the Q&A session with Copsey, Evans and Richards
