COMPETITION RULES

1. matches to predict will be posted on Monday of the week of the Match. (but these will be exclusively ND1 fixtures)  

2. All entries need to received to email richardlindsley@hotmail.com by 00:00 on Friday. (That is Midnight Thursday for thos who have difficulty with clocks!)Participants are allowed to predict weeks in advance of this if they are foolish enough to be away during the rugby season. 

3. Entrants must predict the number of tries scored by each side. 

4. The winning side is determined by tries and may not necessarily be the actual points winner.i.e. we beat London Welsh 30-5 with ten penalties from Barry the Boot against one try by London Welsh, the score is 0-1 with London Welsh the winners! 

5. Scoring is as follows:Correct winner - 2 pointsCorrect draw prediction - 5 pointsCorrect home tries - 2 pointsHome tries within 1 - 1 point Correct away tries - 2 pointsAway tries within 1 - 1 point Correct prediction of home tries, away tries and result - 1 point 

6. Rich will publish his predictions on COYSDC by midday each Thursday. 

7. Anyone failing to predict or missing the deadline will be awarded 0 points. 

8. New participants can join the league until round ten. They will start on the mean average score -10 of all participants. 

9. The winner is the person with the most points at the completion of this years ND1 matches. 

10. The prize is a Charlie Beech Saints playing shirt as donated by Simon Robinson. 

11. There is no charge for entering this competition. 

12. The prize will be presented at the COYSDC presentation evening to be held at the end of the season.

13. In the event of any dispute over scoring, the decision of the Editors is final and binding.
