The 2008/9 season gets underway for the 1stXV with pre-seasons against Connacht, London Irish and Parma as well as the Middlesex 7s. The England internationals will be away at an England training camp from the 10th to 16th August, meaning the pre-season without Danny Care, Nick Easter, Tom Guest, Mike Brown, Dave Strettle and Ugo Monye.
