This could be fun !

couldn't ask for any more in an AW team.

Ribbans must be one hell of a player if he's managed to learn the systems in such a short space of time!

it's really galling to see Ethan getting a run now that he's confirmed that he's off.

That is a first XV team pretty much not a AWC team!!!!!!

Would be massively surpised if Tigers win this one.

Out wide is pretty strong - I imagine they are trying to work out some combinations for the 6N period

Up front we are missing a lot - Alex is benched, Mikey gets a very well earned break, Dylan.. then Courts, Woody and Picamoles would all be in and around - although great to see Sam D back and Jamie G should always start IMHO

Yep it's that classic kessell-olver axis we've been playing all season (Sm6)

Nice to see Sam and Rory back, as well as Ribbans to start.

Not quite:

15 Ahsee Tuala - Foden
14 Ken Pisi - Elliott
13 Nafi Tuitavake - Burrell
12 Harry Mallinder - Hanrahan
11 Juan Pablo Estelles - North
10 Sam Olver - Myler
9 Tom Kessell - Groom
1 Ethan Waller - Waller
2 Charlie Clare - Hartley
3 Kieran Brookes
4 David Ribbans - Lawes
5 Christian Day (capt)
6 Jamie Gibson
7 Ben Nutley - Wood
8 Sam Dickinson - Picamoles

Only 3 first team starters playing tomorrow.

I would imagine that Kessell and Olver have played together a fair bit.

Just because the Wandies and practise matches aren't televised, doesn't mean that they don't happen.

I have every faith that these two will be able to play together

Interesting selection - I'm looking forward to seeing Wilson and Hutchinson from the bench (hopefully with more than 10 mins to play).
Can't help but feel for Paul Hill - what's the man got to do!

It was more tongue in cheek, but it is a very strong team esp in the front row/ pack.

Is Packman rated by your coaches?

Let's hope he has a "stormer".

Those that you say are not first choice, have played a very similar number of 1st team games to those that you claim are 1st choice, if not more, and some are returning from injury, but would normally be first choice, I think that you do them a dis-service. Tigers team by comparison has 4th and 5th choice players, some of whom have not played 1st team rugby all season, and some never.

I do like the fact Michele and Clare are playing in the front row

Sadly we won't see George Worth v George North however

We certainly have a team out to win but it's a shame there are only 4 players that have come through the academy that are starting. I assume that this means the end of Packman and Collins? They can't even make the bench for this one unless they are injured?

Shame to see Hill benched.

Will be interesting who comes off best in a tackle... fish or catchpole

Editors note - I've put the "Team's Up" as an article as we were close to going into SN "limbo" - carry on, as you were, etc... smiling smiley

Yes, disappointing to see KP start ahead of those two (providing they aren't injured). Would have also liked to see Ludlam start.

+1

A good looking side and on paper should have enough for that Tigs team. Games not played on paper though. Anyone know anything about the Croft guy at 6. Academy prospect? winking smiley

How very dare you!

Saints haven't won at Welford Road in 10 years. Therefore it is only fair that we are underdogs

Tom Collins was injured in Dublin.

8 of that squad have come through the academy. That seems quite a lot to me.

The Tigers side is fairly decent, I wouldn't assume anything.

Let's hope we're taking plenty of supporters.

My post was a tongue in cheek reply to Ayerza wannabe's claim that the side is basically a first team XV.

I too have every faith.

Bookies usually back home sides in rugby I've noticed Chris, unless a really uneven match up on paper, I.e. sarries at worcs etc

And Sarries away tonight
