NORTHAMPTON SAINTS v LEICESTER TIGERSGallagher Premiership Rugby, Round SixSaturday 6 October, 2018Twickenham StadiumKick-off: 3pm

Northampton Saints director of rugby Chris Boyd has made two changes to his starting XV for this week’s Derby clash against Leicester Tigers.

Twickenham Stadium is the venue for the first East Midlands Derby of the season, with Saints hosting the game at the home of English rugby in aid of retired player Rob Horne, who will deliver the match ball in front of over 40,000 supporters.

Both BT Sport and terrestrial broadcaster Channel 5 will be at HQ to show every second of the latest instalment of this classic rugby rivalry, with kick-off set for 3pm.

The men in Black, Green and Gold arrive in south-west London off the back of a five-point win over Bristol Bears last weekend, and completed a season double over Tigers last term for the first time since 2005.

Boyd has called fullback Harry Mallinder and centre Andrew Kellaway into his starting team for the first time this season, with Piers Francis unavailable and Ahsee Tuala switching onto the wing for the Twickenham showdown.

Fresh from scoring his first Saints try last time out at Ashton Gate, Taqele Naiyaravoro completes the back three, with inside centre Luther Burrell partnering Kellaway in midfield, and Cobus Reinach and Dan Biggar filling the half-back positions once again.

Meanwhile Boyd has named an unchanged pack following an impressive set-piece showing at Bristol, with Dylan Hartley and Alex Waller jointly leading the side in the front row.

David Ribbans and Courtney Lawes are selected together again in the engine room with Jamie Gibson, Lewis Ludlam, and Teimana Harrison packing down at the base of the scrum.

And Fraser Dingwall comes into the replacements in the only other change to the matchday 23, with the England Under-20 international in line for his debut first-team appearance for Saints should he enter the game

Best we can put out. However, Haskell, not injured and seemingly not considered? Not match fit?

As a Tigers fan I'd take a 0.3 W, given our current form and selection woes. On paper you should win this.

Just hope its a good day For Rob. Its not often a derby is very much second place, in your thoughts.

Both teams trying their hardest and no controversial reffing decisions, please.

Lets keep Rob the focus.

I can see this being something silly like a 40-40 with 3 points a piece.

Based on current form it likely will be try heavy!

Interesting to see Ross McMillan on a Tigers team sheet.

My main concern is at LH. Waller up against Cole could prove to be a long afternoon.

Other than that, im pretty happy given the injury list. Hopefully defense has been a focus this week as well as Harry coming into the line on our attack.

If the weather is grim, we are blessed with 2 excellent positional kickers and some big backs to assist in breakdowns. Im also pleased to see Tuala at 14 as i think his defense is better than Collins' so should be able to deal with May more effectively.

On the whole, i think we have enough to win but it will be a tense afternoon

The predicted rain will probably make it a lower scoring game sadly

If Dingwall starts - is that a debut?

If Waller's getting mullered, we do have Franks... I think my dig worry(s) are Harry (defense) and Luther at 12 (in attack)

Any how, I'll be there, shouting... at lot... come on you saints!

As last Monday's Wandies game was Tom's first game back I don't think he will come into contention for a week or two yet. I didn't see anything from him on Monday to suggest that he should be rushed into the first team yet.

If Waller is getting mullered, Franks is an option, but that means we have no tight head on the bench.

We really need Ford Robinson or Hill to get back.

Really hope the desire to do Rob proud drives the team on. I hope its a great occasion - we in the stands also have an important role to play on that front... It would be awful if the atmosphere resembled the double header or one of Quins' big games... Lets bring the passion of an east midlands derby to Twickenham. COYS!!!

I would be more hopeful of the result if the sun was shining, but I am hoping for a great day (not looking forward to the travelling bit)

In my view neither Wood nor Haskwitt are good enough these days - could add a few others too!!

I agree about Tom. I think he is destined to lead the Wanderers but I think James Haskell still has more to show as I've been underwhelmed with his performances so far so given that he seems to be over his injury then his non selection for today suggests he has slipped down the ladder or rather Lewis and Jamie have taken their chances well.

Wood in the 23 today, as Lawes has pulled out with back spasms, so obviously next in line.
