Wigan are in action at home to Warrington the day before the game, but chief exec Hogan has promised a strong Wigan side to be in action at the Gnoll.
"It will be a useful workout for us and our under 20’s side. We will send as strong a squad as possible to make it a memorable day for the Scorpions Club," said Hogan.
He added he was "delighted to have been asked to play the game in South Wales".
The game falls one week before the start of the Scorpions' Championship One campaign when Workington Town RLFC make the long, long journey south to Neath.
