Defeat at All Golds and now the new era begins...

South Wales RL in their guise as The Scorpions played their last match of the season in a narrow defeat at local rivals Gloucester All Golds. The final score being 33-18. The final league table shows the team with two victories and finishing above Hemel with a better points difference. The club and the fans now look forward to 2017 and the new branding and exciting announcements as the South Wales Ironmen playing out of the superb facilities at Merthyr RFC under the leadership of Lee Byrne.

This independent fans website and forum will continue to follow the fortunes of South Wales premiership rugby league club. It is a superb sport and South Wales deserves to have a team competing at a good level season after season - here's to every success for 2017 and beyond.
