I was out with the Scorpian massive on sat Rog , Mal Jones ,Fletch, Robyn Rich and Dai Morris they were out for my 60th . All still interested in the club and up to date with whats going on, all said they would attend a few games and see how things go. I have been checking out air band b places for Saturday games to stay down and mix with hopefully new fans and new friends.

60 ? I don't believe it!!

I have followed the South Wales club from Neath to Maesteg to Mountain Ash, Blackwood, Caerphilly and Merthyr Tydfil.

Llanelli is a heck of a round trip but like others all I want is a team who perform on the pitch representing the area, and whilst I am not happy with the name change I will support and wish them all the best.

Thanks for still being there, others have gone.

Social media is king these days!!

Good shout - nice to hear from some of the old posters. One thing we have in common is the XIII code and a desire to see it flourish in South Wales.

Its an hour an a quarter train ride for me Rog 2 trains each way .So two and a half hours travel, 3 with a taxi each way from the station At least there is clubhouse actually at the ground this time where hopefully if things go well , new supporters will go to, and new friendships can form . I think this is the final throw of the dice so lets all hope for a double six.

I like your analogy Dai.

Double Six it is.

Hopefully the locals will support the club which didn't happen at Maesteg, Mountain Ash, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil or Blackwood.

I sound like a stuck record but a winning team will attract support, South Wales sports fans won't watch losing teams but jump on success quicker than most. Just look at CCFC when they do well - FULL HOUSES!

I am very optimistic but we need a good start. WWW's......
