Trust me : that's him.
Duane Goodfield and to an extent Steve Jones could learn a lot from Willis this season. As a qualified lawyer, as opposed to those risky non-qualified lawyers you see advertising on rubbish satellite channels , Willis certainly knows the right things to say.
"Warren (Gatland) told me what he thinks about the issue of non-Welsh-qualified players.
"But I don't think he has any problems with experienced, quality professionals who are prepared to improve the quality of the team and players around them."
I just hope Willis believes he fits into those categories. Along with Marc Stcherbina and Shaun Connor, at least Newport Gwent Dragons should have some real leaders on the pitch this season.
Anyway
at least they'll have possibly the strangest signing in Japanese /
Maori outside half James Arlidge. I didn't really think naturalised
Japanese players were supposed to want to try and have a crack at
European rugby, instead of sitting around eating raw fish and
watching Takeshi's Castle, all day.
Anyway all the match reports seem to obsess over his accurate goal kicking, so they certainly won't be missing Ceri Sweeney, and that's certainly not the the last time you'll be hearing that mentioned over the next ten or so months.
