Fixture Release (2019/2020)
Professor.S 08 July, 2019 13:39
Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere but looks like the fixtures are set to be released on Wednesday 10 July at 11am for 19/20 season.

I don't think anything could top the atmosphere at Bris/Bath in Round 1 last year.

I imagine it'll be an away game to start us off this year - Bath or Glos would be my choice.

Also would like to have Saracens early on!!

Who would you like to see first up? Or in the first 4 rounds?

If it's away then Exeter would be nice.

I wonder if we'll have another Twickenham fixture this year? Wasn't ours the biggest gate of the three played there last year (exc final)?

that would be up to B**h I think. It would depend on whether it's worth more to them in having us at the Rec vs a bigger gate (but presumably bigger cost) of taking us to Twickenham

I assume that it would be on us this time though as we were the away team last year?

Much less advantage for us in moving any home match though. We can already fit nearly 30k in anyway.

Think you will find that barf signed a contract to take a home match to Twickenham for a few years, think we were the second away match for them at twickers.

yes, the twickenham thing is a b**h event, there's no obligation on us to reciprocate. we already have a big modern satidum so no need to take our games somewhere else to boost numbers

Did anyone else just see that the fixtures were tweeted by the club, then deleted the tweet? We’re starting at home to Bath on Friday, October the 18th.

Oirish away last game of the season. Nice to see that Prem Rugby still considers us to be relegation contenders then!

B**h away in Feb would suggest that this will be at the Wreck and not at Twickenham too

Better atmosphere and turnout, but a bl00dy nightmare for getting to the ground

It's getting home that's the kicker!

Bath, Quins, Sale and Exeter will be without their RWC players. That start is a massive opportunity.

I don’t have a problem with the Friday night games. I still play so it works better for me but I understand that it doesn’t suit everyone.

Won't we be missing a lot of our players too?
Or have I missed something.

...only there most likely won't be any relegation next season.
