Things like this are surely always worth a go. Best wishes in whatever he moves onto. He's a very young man with many years ahead of him to develop.

That’s a pity, but I am glad we are giving guys these opportunities. Raw talent is always worth a punt IMO.

Pity that. He would probably been better off joining a Championship club in hindsight, rather than break in at Premiership level. Obvious talent but missed a lot of rugby education in his 'learning years'. He seems to say on Twitter that he is going to try out at American Football. Would have thought the NFL unlikely but there are a number of other Leagues that a player could make a good living (eg. Canadian Footbal League and a new league XFL that BTsport are showing). Best of luck to him.

Think sometimes the Bristol Media team over hype the arrival of certain players, this guy came on trial in effect without ever playing top level rugby. He’s quick but hasn’t shown or been given the change to show his all round talents. You win some and you lose some, seen this happen a good few times over the years.

No brainier really! He could earn in a week what he’d earn in a month or two with the Bears if successful.

He is *returning* to American Football, isnt he?
I mean he played college 'murcan football for the Coastal Carolinas Chanticleers in the Sun Belt Conference didnt he, before we gave him a shot to try out rugby again in the "sun belt of the west country".
But he's decided that whilst he's enjoyed his time in Bris and appreciated the opportunity and welcome etc (you can see this on his Twitter feed) ... his "passion" is American Football.
So now he's back to being a running back. And currently looking for employment.
Yes, good luck to him.

Happy that he came and gave it a shot, happy to see someone follow their dreams too. I hope he goes well, he's a talent and seems a good guy.
