It has taken too long to get this out, but a fair set of options in the end.

Yup - happy with that - Option 2 for us.

How many home season card matches are left?

Is it just Saracens, Exeter in the Prem and Dragons in the cup - therefore three?

Dragons was not part of season ticket.

I think there were 4 left

Saracens
Exeter
Northampton
Leicester

So that's about £200 (+10%) for us - that's quite a lot of money to bet on being allowed into games which I think is highly unlikely - particularly for the first two.

We'll have to sleep on it.

Option 2 for me.

2 games left that would have been on your season ticket.
Option 2 all the way.

You sure? I make it 4 as per memnoch's post above:

Saracens
Exeter
Northampton
Leicester

(the last two are not on the fixture list on the offy for some reason)

Anyway we've gone option 2 as well.

They’ve only announced the next four matches so far.

Peter

C'mon you Bristol Boys!

You’re absolutely right - apologies! Makes option 2 seem like even more of a better deal!

must admit to be a bit confused ( proabably an age thing ) but as the concensus seems to be option 2 I will go with that

Bit confusing. Option 1 and option 2 are reversed for TICKETS ALREADY purchased as apposed to SEASON CARDS so be carefull when choosing option

For season card holders, Option 2 is clearly the best option financially, unless you plan on never returning to watch in person again!

The options are subtly different for individual match purchases and I guess these may have been bought by occasional watchers or new fans. Frustrating for the club though, as I imagine the conclusion to this season (if it goes as we'd hoped) may have brought new or floating fans back in.

I have to say, while the impact on rugby clubs is clearly way, way down the order of things in the context of covid, with Semi in particular adding even more sparkle and success I'd not have been surprised to see 20K plus for every Prem game in the original September starting 20/21 season.

I also think the club will lose about £500K for every Prem match which has to go behind closed doors.

When we eventually can fill the ground again I hope as many as possible of those who would have come will still feel they can afford to; and, of course, be around to attend. Keep safe everyone

Sorry to labour this topic all, but I was just wondering - for those choosing option 2 over option 1, is there a feeling (aside from the obvious likely financial benefit) that should fans be allowed in for any games, season ticket holders will be as good as guaranteed an option to buy and secure a ticket even with ‘second priority’? Presumably, if you choose option 2 and fans are allowed from, for example, the 25th August (Chiefs game), you’ll be asked to pay full price?
Just wondered how others are approaching!
Cheers

I would expect to pay full price.

According to what the club are saying (around 9000 allowed in) I would think that there will be plenty of room for those who choose option 2.

Option 1 gets you a free ticket. Option 2 gets you a paid for ticket with priority 2 booking.

Just picked these emails up regarding season ticket, the cut off point was Sunday the 9th at 5 pm, so now have been informed that I subsiding the academy. Phone call to club and after about 5 calls actually managed to speak with some one and they said there is nothing they can do to change it now. Really p****d of f with bristol sport at the moment. Might have to find a better use for my season tickets next year!

Were all the emails sent out last Wednesday though?
