Phil Davies in the Yorkshire Evening Post:

“We have a small, small budget but maybe a few of the Namibian boys who went to the (2019) World Cup with me will come in,” added Davies.

A couple of pacy wingers are required. Someone who might actually score a few tries.

Another gnarly 4/5/6/7/8 Jacques Burger type Forward would be splendid a speedy winger and a 13 would be just the job however a go forward game reading 10 To help young Ben along if we are being greedy Would be nice

It's 3 or 4 and better option than 3/4 props

Definitely need another tight head to support SF. We need go forward power in the pack and midfield

As long as they're not like Kees Lensing, would prefer a couple of Rayno Gerbers though.

Big hints from Jon Newcombe on Twitter today about this

I hope (and expect) that these players are coming for more than he short term and that, whatever finance in place to pay them, is not subject to a "financial restructuring" by a Private Equity Company.

As we are part time, difficut to see how they will get work visas other than to play rugby - so presumably full-time?

On the internet three of the Namibian World Cup squad have Yorkshire listed as their club side. One is a 21 year old prop with 6 caps, another a 21 year old flanker with 3 caps and the last a 32 year old centre with 50 caps. The "royal " connection could come from Christian name of one guy; it's Prince!

From the hints dropped by Jon Newcombe on Twitter it seems likely that two of the three are Prince Gaoseb (back row) and Darryl De La Harpe (centre). I could be reading it wrongly of course.

They are two of the three. The other is prop Andre Rademeyer and all were involved in Namibia' s world cup matches in Japan and all three featured in squad for match against the All Blacks.
