According to the BBC news. Good luck to him in the future and hopefully no long lasting side effects

Sadly this comes as no surprise. A real shame we never got to see the best of him in a Tigers shirt.

Here’s wishing him good health and good luck in the future.

I agree Sally, I doubt this comes as a suprise to many.

Thanks David for the (ableit limited) contribution you made duing one of the darker times for out club.

Look after yourself & hopefully there will be no longer term repercussions

Unfortunately confirmation of what many of us had been expecting.

Real shame as he showed what a good player he was in those early season performances.

Wishing him and his young family all the best for the future.

A real shame for him as a player and the man himself. Hope he eventually recovers fully

Best wishes, most importantly for a full recovery, and then for the next stage of his career.

Desperately sad news wish him all the best for the future. Heres hoping the medical intervention is early enough to prevent the worst of the debilitating symptoms in the future.

Sad times, he did look very good in his 6 appearances for the club.

When my friend suffered a brain injury from rugby they said that after the first two years it's unlikely to get materially better, so fingers crossed he can see improvement in this next year without the need to get "rugby fit" compromising anything.

Also nice to see he has not taken the club for ride, he's been upfront and honest which is always the best thing.
