Squad details on the fish

Who thought it was a good idea only to be able to find out squad member details by first name? In most commercial sites, of firms like lawyers or accountants, it is possible to research the roster by second name, specialisation or location. If we take the Sarries mens' and other groups as 'locations', which is useful, why cannot we get to see, for example who are our props, hooker or whatever, without having to trawl through the entire squad, opening up each player's profile as we go?

It seems to me that the least useful listing metric is first name as priority.

Points win matches: tries win hearts and minds.

Can't really list by position officially, given that some players are capable of playing in 5 different areas. Particularly the women's squad which is a bit more developmental and you have players capable of playing hooker, no.8 and centre in equal measure.

Would say it should be by surname really, but when you take a step back does that really make a difference over first name?

First name showcases the number of 'Alex's' in the back division.
Takes you back to the forwards B team of Burger, Burger, Brits, Borthwick, Ben Earl (OK), etc.

Backs A-tean, Forwards B-team. Makes sense!
