As expected pretty much, considering Tongas physicality, bench seems to have no back 3 player. Considering Dalys ability to shunt in, and Watson fragility, seems a bit odd to have 2 13s as subs

There is a thread on the wasps board which comments on the fact that there is not a single wasps player in the 23, which is quite astonishing really considering the players they have contributed in the past and still contribute now.

There is also one delightful commentator on that thread stating that as there are no wasps players and several salary cap cheating Saracens in the lineup, he hopes his own nation loses. There's no helping some people.

It really isn't that astonishing Barty. It's part of what happens when you don't invest in your Academy, have a conservative DoR and fill key positions with foreign players. On the plus side it looks like their Academy is starting to produce good players and at least this weekends game seems to suggest Young is giving youth a chance. Also I appreciate that moving to Coventry will have messed around with their territories and pathways for youth talent but even back in "London" it's not been a strength for a long time.

Dumb selections from Jones for me but I have no idea how many injured players he's juggling right now. It'll be a miracle if Billy makes the final stages even if the team do. Tonga have a very obvious threat and it's their physicality I'd have been happier with England feilding the "expendables" in a game that's likely to be attritional rather than so many first choices.

You're a young lad, pretty handy at rugby. Do you go to a professional outfit, with top line training facilities and train alongside top pros, or do you go to Wasps, and train alongside amateurs in a shed?
