also appears Juan Figallo is quietly retiring as he has completely disappeared in the Fish article - neither mentioned as staying nor leaving

It would be a huge shame if we don't get to give Brad and Wiggy a huge send off in front of a home crowd. However, sadly it looks like that's how it is going to be.

Looks like we've signed England 7s winger Ben Harris

Harris announced the move in an Instagram posting three days ago and updated his bio there and on Twitter. No official word from the club yet.

An early morning announcement, Saracens have finally confirmed Alex Goode will go on loan to NEC Green Rockets in Japan from October-May, and will therefore play the rest of the 2019-20 season before toddling off. He has signed a contract with us until 2023, which at 32 years old currently is a sign that he'll probably finish his career with us too as an (almost) one club man

Awesome news. The idea of another of our greatest slipping away silently by the backdoor really bothered me!!

Update on the fish regarding the Senior Academy intake which I will be adding to the list. Varying degrees of involvement from full-time to minor. Quite a large intake compared to previous seasons, and sounds like some strong talent once again

Sarries have now confirmed the full 20-strong academy squad with six players signing new deals, including Charlie Watson and Sam Crean who I did have listed as out of contract in 2020

Is that a larger Academy intake than normal Barty?

Don't have exact numbers to be honest but it does fluctuate year on year. It is bigger than last year's intake I believe but don't think its an unusual amount. Does mean the size of the academy has grown a bit.

Doncaster Knights prop Robin Hislop has joined Sarries on loan until the end of the season as front row cover.

Very prudent! We have three looseheads out of action.

It would be appalling if we were to resort to uncontested scrums, unlike some!

Well, his ridiculous wasps thread started on Thursday afternoon, so must be an Alex Goode style marathon he's on.

As much as we may or may not like wasps, his comments are doing us no favours. Particularly when our moderators, of which Tony is one, have in the past routinely banned visitors to this site for making trolling comments, for him to be doing the same is a major frustration for the majority of us that just want to move away from the vitriol of the last year and show that as a fan base we're not a bad bunch.

Likening several severe injuries sustained by the Wasps front row last week to deliberate cheating is crass from anyone, and particularly foolish from a Saracens fan.

Please can we lay off Tony!
Some of you have very short memories!
Let's get back on track with this thread or else

A REQUEST PLEASE!

First - Barty to copy and paste the OP into a new thread.
Second - eds to make it sticky again.
Third - delete this entire original thread if necessary, it will also remove some of the dross in it.

I have found the updated OP incredibly useful. It's about the only comprehensive resource of its kind anywhere.

Thanks
