St Patricks Day Parade is cancelled in Dublin so could this be a precursor to the Irish Government cancelling all sporting events including our Champions Cup QF with Leinster?

There are ten of us going, so it would be nice if we are told sooner rather than later.

I have 10 flights booked with Ryan Air so no idea if refunds will be offered.

My hotel can be cancelled without charge 48 hours before booking starts

Match tickets.... It would be nice to think organisers will give full refund in the event game is cancelled. If it is postponed, then tickets could be offloaded I guess.

But here is a thought.....if Irish government bans all sporting event, would tourney organisers just cancel everything or try to push QF, SF & Final into next season?
If the tried to do that just think, the reigning European Champions for sure will be in English second tier.

Perhaps they could re-schedule it in a country that doesn't unnecessarily panic.

It seems to me the obvious solution is to call it off for this season and just award it to whoever won it last season (Sm115)

Oh my, that would cause utter apoplexy in certain quarters.

Toulon have suspended the ticketing sales for Toulon v Scarlets (European QF). It's not Ireland, I know, but it does show concern

From the BBC
Schools, colleges and other public facilities in the Republic of Ireland are to close in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
Taoiseach (Irish prime minister) Leo Varadkar said the measures would take effect from 18:00 on Thursday to 29 March.
He said indoor mass gatherings of more than 100 people and outdoor gatherings of more than 500 should be cancelled.
Looks like it will be in an empty stadium or cancelled if this relates to sporting events.

All it needs is one player or coach on either side to catch it and the game will be off

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar : "From 6pm today, the following measures are being put in place and they will stay in place until March 29: schools, colleges and childcare facilities will close from tomorrow, where possible teaching will be done online or remotely."

He added: "Our advice is that all indoor mass gatherings of more than 100 people and outdoor mass gatherings of more than 5,000 people should be cancelled. You need to continue to go to work if you can, but where possible you should work from home."

This only has to be extended by one week......

If you were reading that from a legal view, it does not say that events must be cancelled, only that they "advise" and that they "should" be cancelled not "must" be .... one for the lawyers to get their head round.
