Sadly hes still in denial. There wont be rugby for 3 months min not weeks and I frankly cant see the season restarting as so many players will be deconditioned by then. On the bright side all players need a rest, this could extend a lot of careers. Hope Brad is playing for us next year.

It is easy to be cynical about posts made by public figurers and suggest it's all just PR. But again I can only applaud and thank Brad for the detail and thoughts in his latest message - positive, caring, uplifting. Good too to be reminded of another aspect of our club's widespread charitable work with their upcoming Lockdown letters initiative and the reminder of their successful involvement with Feltham Young Offenders and HMP The Mount.

Rugby clubs in general punch far above their weight in this respect compared to their football counterparts, none more so than our club, thanks largely to Nigel's philosophy and energy. There will be some big voids in community support around the country if, as is likely, clubs go bankrupt.
