THe England AIs appear to be on SKy, which I don't have.

I noticed that you can pay for a month on Now TV for £20 to get sky sport

Ive got BT youview and a fairly old Samsung TV

I had a look on line and it looks like BT boxes aren't supported and Samsung tvs only after 2015

I guess this means I would need to watch on a tablet/PC? Is this right

If you've got a chromecast you can cast Now TV to your telly. If not then you can get a Now TV box cheap and plug it into an HDMI slot on your telly.

I haven’t had now tv for sport, but previously we had it for movies and entertainment, which was very good. Connecting your pc to the tv could work well if you have the right cables/inputs, I do that sometimes to watch matches on the betting websites.

Can't cast to amazon I'm afraid and there's no app. Either get a chromecast or a now tv box (£16). Or watch on your computer.

Perhaps it’s worth retaining Sky after all!

Got an Xbox in the house? Can watch now TV on that, maybe even on a playstation but haven't looked in to that one.

"Perhaps it’s worth retaining Sky after all!"

Why? As hasta says, for the want of a device that costs less than a (cheap) trip to the pub you can pick and choose.
