Peter Hall has recently passed away.

For those of you who did not know Peter, he was the absolute epitome of the traditional spirit of Bath and Rugby Union.

Peter was connected with the club for over 50 years, first as a player (openside backrow) and then in multiple voluntary roles at the club. These included many years organising, with his wife Mollie, supporters away travel and coaches. In more recent times he was the clubs archivist / historian providing thousands of hours of research time and co-authoring Before The Lemons and After The Lemons - the de facto histories of Bath Rugby Club.

Peter was twice President of the club, a role now fittingly occupied by his son and ex Bath/England player John Hall.

I'm sure many who visit this site will have fond memories of Peter who will be sadly missed. A remarkable man, true gentleman and tremendous servant to Bath Rugby Club

I never met him but have read both books which are really interesting and were clearly a labour of love.

RIP

Hard as nails in his playing days, a true clubman. All best wishes to John and family
