I'm terminally pi$$d off by the incessant negativity of the event we're living so I thought a "Good News" option to share and add to might lift spirits. I don't care what it is, just a positive message is required. If any subject descends into the crapposphere because of some bizarre agenda then so be it. The truth will out. This outcome as a result for increased demand for domestically processed metals is great news which all should celebrate.

Green steel production to double

Wonderful news and in the right place. If you're canny now is a great time to invest in UK manufacturing......if you know what that is. My organisation has just opened a new manufacturing operation on N.Wales which was only conceived 8 weeks ago, with first output delivered to a food packaging operation in Zaragoza today. Also recycling related.

Good news stories eh?

But Mr CC given there is no rugby shouldn't it be the other way round with "Rugby" appended to any thread concerning flyhalfs?

Good news for me is not paying 5.25 for a coffee and a croissant on Cheapside, London on the day or two I normally go to London!

Potentially very good story...I struggle with the concept of green steel but if it recycles and you need the product anyway....then that is far better than sourcing new from scratch...

Not a worthy mainstream story though...??? lol

Odd that this is a very short thread.

Maybe because 'post-COVID' is a way off yet.

Not sure this should be in the good news thread, unless you are a lover of concrete that is.

All that's missing is pictures of the guilty men/women the moment they were arrested, bet they weren't smiling.
