Brilliant way for the club to create ambassadors amongst the younger members of the Worcester populace.

Six lucky Junior Warriors members played their part behind-the-scenes in Saturday’s Gallagher Premiership win over Sale Sharks at Sixways.

The six helped out Warriors staff with matchday roles including ten-year-old Mena Chadderton who spent the afternoon as a member of the club’s media team.

Here is Mena’s report on the match:

Today was the Junior Warriors takeover. It seemed like the six Junior Warriors really helped the team to get the win.

It was Rainbow Laces day today to support LGBT Equality in sport. The referee had rainbow laces and also a rainbow stripe on his shirt. Many of the players from both sides also had rainbow laces.
