The Offy

Warriors’ Gallagher Premiership match against Bath Rugby at Sixways on Saturday will go ahead as scheduled with a 3.00pm kick-off.

However, with a weather forecast of strong winds and heavy rain with the arrival of Storm Dennis, we will continue to monitor and review conditions.

The safety of spectators, players, officials and staff is of paramount importance and we will do everything possible to ensure that this is not compromised.

Should the situation change we will advise supporters on this website and via our social media channels.

The Warriors Under-13 Festival, which was scheduled to take place on the Cummins Farm pitches at Sixways on Saturday morning has been cancelled due to the forecast heavy rain and strong winds

wind & rain - yellow risk
wind 25 mph, with gusts at almost 50mph
wind coming from behind the big screen more or less - SSW
temp 12 feels like 8
80% chance of rain

Yes, Diver Dave, these soft Southerners don’t know what a real storm is!

Diver Dave and Grasshopper,

By comparison for Shetland - Lerwick and I assume Sheltand RFC

wind & rain - no weather risk listed by the met office
wind 38 mph, with gusts at almost 56mph
wind coming - SSE
temp 7 feels like 1
>95% chance of rain

Worse conditions, but no weather warning - so agree for the soft Southerners

I know where you’re coming from, Centrethere - My wife is a Shetlander - and I know from experience that it can be almost as bad in the summer!
